NiP to grand final after ESC scare

Ninjas in Pyjamas have scored a 2-0 (16-8 de_dust2_se, 16-12 de_inferno_se) win over ESC Gaming, escaping to the Mad Catz CS:GO Invitational grand final still undefeated on LAN.

Series kicked off on de_dust2_se where ESC scored the first four rounds. NiP tied the game quickly at four, but after ESC's fifth round, the Swedes won six more in a row, switching sides at 10-5.

The Poles were able to put up a couple of more rounds in the second half, but were ultimately unable to match NiP's first half, losing the half 3-6 as they fell 8-16 overall.

NiP faced some serious issues early on during their counter-terrorist campaign on second map de_inferno_se, as Filip "NEO" Kubski's squad showing their trademark strong terrorist play to go up 9-3.

HeatoN's team is through to yet another grand final 

Although the Swedes won just one more round that half, ESC wouldn't be able to hold on to the lead. Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas' team won the first gun round to make it 12-7 after a lost pistol, and from there on out it was all NiP.

ESC were able to pick up a couple of kills on many rounds, but strong performances and multiple clutch situations by the Swedes were simply too much to handle for the Polish side.

After Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson's one-on-one win in the B bombsite, NiP walked into the A site through counter-terrorist side on the twenty-eighth round and secured their sixteenth round win for a 16-12 score. NiP are now through to the grand final where they will face the winner of VeryGames versus Anexis after the match is over. ESC Gaming will face the loser of said semi-final for third place.
